Another update, with not much to say!
According to David, the drill sergeant that was taking pictures the first two weeks has broken his camera, which is TERRIBLY sad, in my opinion! I'm ready to start a "DS Cope Camera Fund" if he doesn't get a new one pretty soon, too.
But I HAVE been able to talk to David for about 10 minutes on the last two Sunday nights. He is feeling much better, but still has a cough. He DID pass his PT test last week, as well as the Marksmanship training. And in a letter, he even mentioned that he was very excited when they handed out tasks and he was given RAKING LEAVES for a job! My yardwork-loving husband enjoyed every minute of it.
Tonight is the Night Infiltration Course. You can see a video clip by clicking on the words here: Week 8 (The night course clip is the fourth one.)
And he also mentioned that he has a 3-day Field Training Exercise tomorrow through Saturday. So I guess he'll be sleeping in a sleeping bag and eating MRI's for a few days! Guess it's a good thing he likes to be OUTSIDE! Thankfully, the weather forecast looks pretty good, too.
Thanks for checking up on him.
Only 23 days to GRADUATION!!!
